Dr. Morra is so kind and accommodating. My daughter talks his ear off every single visit and he actually listens and doesn’t try to rush her. My son sees Danielle for his ADHD and she is wonderful! They really do care about your kiddos and make you feel so comfortable… even in crummy situations when the kiddos are sick and you are stressed. Highly recommend this office. By far my favorite pediatrician and I’ve been in 3 different states with many doctors due to the army life…. You will love this office!
I lifted this from Yale School of Public Health - also accurate - also mentions important information - MORE STUDIES MUST BE DONE. A causal vs casual relationship between something and something else is a BIG DEAL. "CASUAL" (best that can even be remotely proven now) is the RFK version given yesterday. No way has enough research been done since Inauguration Day to prove this as CAUSAL (i.e. presence of one thing CAUSES another).... See MoreSee Less

DISCLAIMER: My opinions, some politics and some religion included in this long, long post, so if you want to play this safe and avoid these areas, please just skip this post instead of angrily replying to it. Hopefully, it's just something to think about.Good morning/afternoon, everyone! I am reading ahead a little before this big Trump "announcement" on the cause of autism. Please do not be fooled into thinking there is one cause for autism. I wish they would not be fooled either. This disease has been studied all over the world in millions of children and the causes that are currently being touted by the government make no sense. The two additions that I have heard (and I will clarify once I hear and read it all) are Tylenol in pregnancy as a cause and leucovorin as a treatment. Now I am pro this administration on most things, but this "what causes autism" thing is not going to be answered by one administration, especially when all the doctors and scientists who are able to study this are now "gone" (at least from governmental agencies). That's just a fact. Numerous studies have shown that autism is "multi-factorial" - genetics, environmental toxins, etc.Tylenol to treat fever in pregnancy was one of the few ways that is acceptable during pregnancy. Ibuprofen is not safe during pregnancy. If fever goes untreated, this can have deleterious effects on a developing fetus. Not sure what the treatment options for fever will be if Tylenol achieves the same "outcast" status as vaccines have in this administration.Far more can be said on this, but I don't want to take up too many screens with this post. One point I do wish to make is I find it interesting that apparently we couldn't trust the government on how to manage a pandemic, yet we should trust them on this? Different government yes, but the same word "government" applies to this new insane advice that they espouse and want us to believe.I keep saying the people who want to find these answers are out of their league and don't have the backgrounds to make these decisions. I do stand behind this.Everyone wants to blame things on something. Two of my boys are deaf and we didn't poke and prod them to find a cause for their deafness. If we dwelled on that, the boys would have never gotten hearing devices, speech therapy, developmental therapy and all the other things they would have needed to succeed. We needed to intervene before the age of 6 months if we wanted them to be on par with their hearing peers. I think my wife and I did well with that. We still don't really know why they are deaf, though. There is likely not just one reason.Yes, we did find one gene that at least in part "may" have contributed to their deafness, but we didn't probe any further. Did I blame things that I ate, the hose water I drank when I was a kid, any ladders that we may have walked under when my wife was pregnant? NO, we took care of the problem once God determined that it was the boys' mother and I who were best able to manage the problem. Religion took center stage with Charlie Kirk yesterday, but it never seems to do so anywhere else.Boy, this is long and far beyond what I would think anyone would want to read, so I'm going to stop now. But please do not expect any magical answers in the big "announcement" today.Sorry again for this length.DRM ... See MoreSee Less
